A little about me…

Hello and Welcome To My Little Corner Of The Internet!

It means a lot to me that you’ve stayed long enough to read my about section! 

I was born and raised on my family farm in east central Alberta but have called Calgary my home for the last 15 years. After graduating high school in my hometown, I headed off to pursue my big city dreams – obsessed with Sex and City, I thought I’d be the next SJP and channel my inner Carrie. Well, Calgary isn’t quite New York and I’m definitely no Carrie so I moved on to bigger and better things!! I married the perfect man for me and now we are building our life while raising two awesome children! While Calgary is home now, I do miss farm life and try to take my kids back to the farm often. They love it and I love that my two city kids get to experience a little bit of that country kid farm life that I did. 

I left my corporate job shortly after my daughter was born and decided to journey into entrepreneurship so I could have more time for my family. Boy, was I wrong! I definitely don’t have more time but I do have more flexibility and wouldn’t change that for the world!
